Step back in time to a quaint river town. Many buildings are on the Ohio Historical Register. From the Old Opera House Theatre to the Button House Museum and on to the beautiful antebellum Howard House.

The Muskingum River Parkway

Take an interesting look at "life along the river." Rockeby Lock, one of the stops along the parkway, was built between 1836 and 1841. This hand operated wooden lock system is among the last of its kind in Ohio.
